What is Castile Soap?
Castile soap is a vegetable-based soap made from plant oils. It's biodegradable, non-toxic, and incredibly versatile. Our JC Castile Liquid Soap is concentrated and can be diluted for hundreds of different uses around your home, body, and pets.
Note: Always dilute castile soap according to the recommended ratios. Using too much soap can leave residue and make cleaning less effective.

Tips for Best Results
- Hard water: If you have hard water, reduce soap amount and add a little vinegar to rinse water
- Storage: Keep in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Mixing: Don't mix directly with vinegar (they neutralize). Use separately or in rotation
- Essential oils: Add a few drops to diluted solutions for extra fragrance
- Patch test: Always test on small area first, especially on delicate surfaces
- Less is more: Start with less soap and add more if needed
Important: While castile soap is incredibly versatile, it's NOT recommended for use as:
- Dishwasher detergent (too sudsy)
- Direct mixture with acidic ingredients (they neutralize)
- On waxed or oiled surfaces (may remove finish)
